warning because she was looking for something in her purse and was holding an e-cigg. She is a worry wort and follows rules, she says she wasn't trying to vape, she was looking for her ear plugs and was holding several things in one hand looking with the other. She was in the process of putting the stuff back in her purse and the e-cig was the last thing she was putting in her purse. An older flight attendant came by-took the e-cig and gave her a warning "ticket " told her she could get it back when they deboarded.
My friend had to get it at the terminal desk . It was wrapped with the rest of the duplicate ticket tucked inside a latex glove. My friend said the terminal lady rolled her eyes when she read the ticket and immediately gave the e-cig back.
She is getting ready to fly again and is worried she might be on some kind of list now. I told her she should worry but -that's what she does is worry.

(26,582 posts)you can't smoke them on a plane but I never heard anything about having them in your belongings.
at any rate , all she was doing was holding it . She said the flight attendant was a busy body that acted like she was queen for getting to write her the warning

(19,558 posts)Which I think was linked to using aftermarket chargers, but still you can't take the batteries on planes now I think.
ETA: My mistake, I looked it up and that was for checked baggage.
She should have been allowed to take it on the flight with no problems in her carry on. You just cannot use them on the plane.

It won't be the same airlines but she worries about no-fly lists and things.
From what she told me, I said the terminal lady likely threw the paper away in a fit of oh how stupid this was...
