Hitler only won due to support from Van Papen and establishment conservatives. Without GOP support, Trump would've been nowhere.

And thanks to comrade Flynn, he has US government secrets, like the critical response info in case of a national emergency.

I'm glad France was able to reject the creeping fascism that ensnared USA, though. Next, turf Cheeto and GOP to restore the country.

He is not.

PARIS (AP) — French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron is promising to reopen discussions with Russia and to make the fight against the Islamic State group a priority.

The former French economy minister, who is leading a centrist campaign, told journalists on Wednesday that Russia must play a decisive role in ending the conflict in Syria.

But he says ousting Syrian President Bashar Assad cannot be a prior condition before taking action to end the war. Macron criticized his former mentor, President Francois Hollande, saying that Hollande pushed Russia to isolate itself from Europe and to look toward Asia.

Macron also favors renewed peace talks to stabilize the situation in eastern Ukraine in order to be able to gradually diminish sanctions against Russia.

But he is not going to be a Putin stooge like Le Pen would be. He's intelligent enough to realize that completely cutting off relations with Russia (and Putin) would prove disastrous.

"Mr. Putin has put several conflicts on the table – the Ukrainian conflict – which we must deescalate, and in the conflict in Syria, Russia is part of the solution,” Macron said, while promising that he would not cave in to the demands of the Russian president.

“I will not accept that my behavior be dictated by Mr. Putin. We will not submit to Russia or Mr. Putin’s values," he stressed, accusing Le Pen for acting at the behest of the Russian president.
