The bigger point even most in the Democratic Party seem to miss.

We need access to decent affordable medical care when we need it - not "coverage". Insurance 'coverage" only covers the investors - not the patient - not the doctors and hospitals.

There was time when Americans did the work and the investor class had an interest in protecting their little profit makers. Shipping the jobs overseas means they don't need to care about any workers, anywhere.

Unless the investor class has an incentive to care about American workers, it's only going to get worse. The race to the bottom continues.......

The three roadblocks in the path to enlightenment are greed, hatred and ignorance.

The road to enlightenment includes generosity, empathy and wisdom.

The is from the teachings of Buddha. I believe it is correct. An enlightened person would want health care for everyone.

People have to work on themselves to change from being greedy to generosity.

They need some idea that being generous is better than being greedy. The same goes for hatred and ignorance.

To me that idea is that we all as a whole are better off if we all put our individual selves on the path to enlightenment.

That should be our message. The message that we should work on ourselves to make the whole better.

As long as they can put the cost of war for cheap energy resources on the backs of workers, they'll continue to export jobs to the cheapest labor they can find. 'Globalization" is depends upon the cheap energy.

We live in a time when profits are privatized and losses are public - as are most of the costs of doing business. It makes no sense to me why the investor class is against public based medical care. Obviously there's a financial component I don't see - and i'm an accountant.

Then again - it could just be they are evil fucktards who get their jollies seeing other people suffer.
