The healthcare vote was very important but not for the reason Republicans think.

It was the first major legislative victory for Donald Trump and the first legislative loss for Paul Ryan and the Republican Party.

It was important in that they voted to go along with someone who, they know in their hearts, should never be in the position he is in. Yet, they betrayed not only the country, but their own hearts and consciences, also.

They lent credibility to someone undeserving of credibility and, in doing so, did harm to our nation. They gave a stamp of approval to someone that is not normal and who they know little about, other than that he is unstable and rude, prone to name calling and narcissistic longings.

They changed a lot with their votes. They accepted the unacceptable.

Unacceptable indeed! Mme. Defarge May 2017 #1
I think it was a victory for Ryan. He's been wanting to take an axe to Medicaid, etc., so he voted manicraven May 2017 #2

It wasn't Trump's bill, it was Ryan's. Trump doesn't even know what is in the act. Hamlette May 2017 #5

for this because it's what he wanted and not just to give tRump a legislative victory. Not sure that tRump even knows what's in the bill.

They voted to mass murder American citizens. When they were done they laughed and high fived. THEY CELEBRATED!

THEY VOTED TO LET AMERICANS DIE PAINFULLY.
