Republican lawmakers in Kansas trying to foist a flat tax on the poor and working class....

This is how they want to make up the shortfall cause by Gov Brownback when him and his wrecking crew of Republicans voted for a ZERO State income tax rate starting in 2013 for all Corp/LLC/S Corps and those with rental incomes. As predicted back then the disaster has happened,we'll be facing a Billion $$$ shortfall by June 2018. Another disaster tinkle down "plan" by Arthur Laffer and signed off on by Brownback and Repubs.

Oh yeah....80% of the Legislators have their OWN LLC.

Gosh what to do?? Make those Corporations start paying taxes again??...nah Try and shove through the Legislature a Neil Boortz "flat tax" which would more than double the tax rate for the poor and working class while implementing a 2.2% tax reduction for those in higher incomes.

We'll see.............

They never want to raise taxes but when they do, they sock it to the poor and needy.

The die hard Republican voters, that is! They had a chance to fix it, but voted against their own interests, because they're stupid!

This will only make things worse. And in another year or two they will be back to 'fix' things again. Until the voters there stop voting based entirely on the cult of the fetus and gun, they will continue to make their state suffer.
