Rolling back Dodd-Frank would weaken oversight, cripple consumer protection, says bills architect

Congress is debating whether to get rid of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The act was passed after the Great Recession, in order to tackle problems like banks that were too big to fail, financial groups dealing in sketchy products, and predatory lending.

Now, Republicans want to do away with Dodd-Frank.

OMG
It is all about them from their perspective. Nothing to do with making sure ALL people had fair housing loans. Made me sick to my stomach to be associated. I walked away from a lot of time, effort, brand building, and $ invested.
Even Continuing Ed "teachers" hot under the collar! We had classes on these topics specifically. I was pissed to be paying for CE to listen to teacher complain.
From my perspective... buyer beware never went away!!!
