BREAKING: Court Filing Indicates FBI Has Active Investigation Pertaining to Donald Trump's Call For

Russian Hacking and Espionage

https://www.sparrowmedia.net/2017/05/james-comey-trump-investigation/

The news is not that there is an investigation, we all know that.

It is that the initiating FOIA request was about donnie's statement "Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,’ and ‘I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.’”

from the article

On August 18, 2016, Shapiro and Leopold submitted a FOIA request to the FBI seeking “disclosure of any and all records, including investigative records, mentioning or referring to Donald J. Trump’s statement on 27 July, 2016 [regarding Secretary Hillary Clinton’s State Department emails], ‘Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,’ and ‘I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.’”

When the FBI did not respond in a timely manner to the FOIA request, Shapiro and Leopold sued. During the lawsuit, the FBI initially asserted that it could neither confirm nor deny the existence of documents responsive to this FOIA request.
...
However, the FBI subsequently withdrew this position and agreed to search for the requested documents. Again, the documents requested by Shapiro and Leopold are records, including investigative records, mentioning or referring to a public statement made personally by Donald J. Trump, not his advisors, surrogates, or campaign staff.

So it went from GLOMAR response to "we can't give you the docs bcz of ongoing investigation." This is noteworthy.

can't release because of an ongoing audit.

Hey, doesn't The Donald have something to do with the trial on May 15th regarding underage girls and one of his friends? Epstein? If so, he's going to be a busy boy...if not in body, at least mentally connected and a bit apprehensive.

Doesn't matter if he's being audited, they can get their hands on anything.

All we need is an independent bi-partisan investigation, and everything will move quickly forward.

What documents could there possibly be pertaining to Russia having emails which Hillary deleted 2 years earlier??

Or are they thinking the deleted emails are out there? And that the FBI has them?

Or - holy shit, that Russia had access to them??
THAT would be f*&^ed up.

and it certainly doesn't establish that there is an active investigation directly pertaining to Trump's comments. Only that there is an active investigation (wouldn't have to be of Trump) in which reference to those comments might have been made in a document.

and that the FBI has no intention of fulfilling the request ever.

I don't have any confidence in any part of the government any more. The oligarchs won the class war and they are collecting the spoils.
