In the end there could be very little difference between the US and Third Reich in very many ways. We don't have Dachau yet but we have privately run detention centers for deportees and undocumented workers. They are not Jewish but Hispanics. And we now see how out of control the administration is.

The Cabinet is just our version of Hitlers henchmen. Imagine what it is like to be a federal employee right now if YOU ARE NOT A TRUMP LOYALIST. Look around we have a white supremacist government run by the super wealthy. Racism, bigotry and misogyny are now in the mainstream and even condoned. And we have a virtually worthless media.

We have a dismantling of our government at almost every level. We have a GOP Congress that is so obviously totally corrupt and tyrannical. All entreaties and blowback about the AHCA are being met with DERISION actually. Like who you little voting turds to tell us what to do?

1. Umberto Eco on Ur-Fascism

1. The cult of tradition. “One has only to look at the syllabus of every fascist movement to find the major traditionalist thinkers. The Nazi gnosis was nourished by traditionalist, syncretistic, occult elements.”

11. Everybody is educated to become a hero. “In Ur-Fascist ideology, heroism is the norm. This cult of heroism is strictly linked with the cult of death.”
