It is becoming a daily moan and groan like a tooth ache that will not go away. There is nothing but bad news on the political day. It is like watching the movie "Psycho" over and over again and again. You can cut the suspense and agony with a knife.

Every week is worse than the one before. No wonder people are stressed out and in a bad mood all the time!

Everyone is on edge now, everywhere, all the time.

I am fighting weight gain because all I want to do is stress eat now - completely NOT like me. My husband is doing the same. We're fit runners. Now we'd rather just turn inward and hide most days.

The Republican party does not care and will do nothing to stop the corruption.

3. Not from my front porch.

As you describe the "bad news," it's how I felt in the months following the 2016 election. That news - all of it - confirmed that republicans will always find ways to go lower than our most cynical expectations.

Recent news, however, especially Comey's sudden termination and the implications has got me smiling from one ear lobe to the other. It ain't over til it's over, but this is the first, solid indication that the republican/Trump/Russian house of cards is starting to fall.

I'll take this kind of "bad news" any day and all day.

4. Hang in there! Stay strong!

We need to stay strong and focused on WINNING ELECTIONS! It takes courage to not allow ourselves to fall into despair and indifference. In Buddhism, we are taught that patience, ethical behavior, and enthusiastic persistence in the face of obstacles are virtures. I know that a lot of us are experiencing mental fatigue from all the chaos and corruption that Trump leaves in his wake. He will never change in this lifetime. So this chaos may go on and on and on for weeks, months even. But I sense that even some Republicans are fatigued with his bullshit and chaos too.

We must stay, calm, and resolute in our resistance. We cannot allow to be deflected by distractions. Without anger and rancor, we engage in political action and resistance for the benefit of others. Courage and justice are virtues, and I assure you that Trump and the deplorables will get their come-uppance. The arc of the universe bends towards justice. And the law of karma is just like gravity - it never stops working!
