A shout out to Jeffrey Toobin on CNN last night

I just want to give a "shout out" to Jeffrey Toobin on CNN last night. He was on fire.

We need more legal analysts who will actually say the words "Trump" and "lies" in the same sentence. Toobin was eloquent.

I kept tuned to CNN (instead of MSNBC) just to see what he would say next. He really did not mince his words.

He threw Al Gore under the bus in 2000. Now the blowback from Bush's SCOTUS has given us this current mess. I have no use for Jeffrey Toobin.

In 2000, he and Jake Tapper both wrote books about the recount, and I think it was Toobin who actively mocked Al Gore for daring to question the electronic voting machines and their results.

How is it that people like Toobin, Margaret Carlson, Tim Russert, etc., actively harmed this country by giggling all through the 2000 recount, but take absolutely no responsibility for the ramifications their journalistic negligence caused?

I'm not in this to argue or to defend what Toobin, et al may have done in 2000. I was devastated by Gore's loss because, as a Texan, I'd seen first hand the harm that Georgie could do.

I will, however, give anyone credit for standing up to Trump, and Toobin said plainly last night that Trump fired Comey because Comey was going to prove that Trump colluded with Russia.

There are too many journalists who are still dancing around the subject.

it was journalistic malfeasance that created the wrong recount result in 2000, which led to what's going on now and Toobin was front and center. Imagine a press that had actively rooted for Gore in 2000 and pushed a recount, instead of hopping on the Bush bandwagon?

And, believe it or not, David Gregory who ripped in to Ken THE COOCH Cuccinelli.

Tobin's first book "Opening Arguments" above his first job after passing the bar - Walsh special prosecution of Ollie North - is a great read.

I couldn't believe it was Toobin who was telling it like it really is. As he kept saying it later, David Gregory chimed in and was having it out with Jeffery Lord and some former congressman.

Everyone at the table people like (Dana Bash) were trying their usual normalizing bullshit as though they were afraid to say what everyone can plainly see, who really want to..

Former a-hole Attorney General of Virginity - Bob McDonnell's transvaginal guy. I'd never seen him on one of those shows so I was surprised. I noticed that the two Repubs on the panel were tieless. I've read today that the WH realized they'd lost 3 hours of prime time without their people so they rushed everyone out. That's why Jeff Lord and Kellyanne appeared so late on AC 360.

COOCH is by all accounts (here in Richmond) a real jerk. The hardcore Repubs demanded that he be the nominee for governor so they held a caucus instead of a primary. Bill Bolling would have probably won but they had to have the COOCH.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe.
