6. This is ranching country and it's really hard to tell a rancher

that introducing a second predator in addition to coyotes is going to improve anything. The truth is that the only thing that keeps the coyote population in check is competition from wolves. You kill coyotes when food is plentiful, they just make more baby coyotes. You introduce wolves and decrease the food supply, the coyotes make far fewer baby coyotes.

However, the reintroduction is happening here, too.
