At what point will the "present both sides" format used by CNN, MSNBC

be retired with respect to this so called president? Will they still invite Jeffrey Lord on to explain Trump's side when minority groups are being rounded up or prevented from voting, etc? At what point will the truth be presented ALONE, without the injection of dangerous spin that creates an atmosphere of confusion or complacency?

Used to be REQUIRED, in news shows anyway.

The Fairness Doctrine was a policy of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), introduced in 1949, that required the holders of broadcast licenses both to present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that was — in the Commission's view — honest, equitable, and balanced.

We NEED such.

When one side lies continuously, is that fair?

Trust will never be rebuilt without it. As long as the nice-folks (Democrat) trapdoor doesn't open wide in the process -- which it usually does. Is there reason to believe it won't this time? May be. Sure hope so.

But to present outright lies and bullshit is something else. Who would have thought that I would long for the days of conservatives like Robert Novak and William Buckley.
