LOL! Democrats on House Judiciary and Oversight Cmts. request Trump "tapes" from White House

That did not take long.
I like the way the Dems. use his Tweeting blather as a base for demands and legal charges.

The Tweet containing copy of the letter is below, I had to open teh letter in another window to see it clearly. In it, Dems helpfully point out the law that he just broke by threatening/intimidating a witness.

As a paralegal I can tell you that what Trump did was a threat and intimidation of a witness in an ongoing criminal investigation no matter what means of communication he used. The fact that it is in writing is so much better than a verbal threat because it is wholly provable and admissible in court. Trump has done what they state in the letter and not only that but in his on air interview stated he had a private dinner wherein he discussed the on-going investigation with Comey. That too is intimidation because he claimed that Comey expressed his desire to remain in his position and since Trump is his "boss" Trump was basically holding his job over his head for his assurance of "loyalty" to him meaning to hide evidence, etc. THAT is highly illegal and unethical. This is criminal behavior and absolutely implies there is a need to have someone suppress evidence for him. It also means that we cannot trust anyone who may fill the position to be honest if that is a prerequisite for being appointed to the position. This must be stopped or else the Country is in absolute and imminent danger.

Interesting, but from what you indicate, are you sure it's not Rump who's in absolute, if not extremely imminent danger? He seems to be building quite an amazing case against himself.
