Adam Schiff to Maher: GOP lining their pockets before Trumps wheels come completely off the wagon

After showing a rowdy town hall in which a constituent shouted at a Republican House member to “decide to be an American and not a politician,” Maher asked Schiff, “How can they govern if that’s what’s brewing out in America? What are the Republicans saying to each other behind closed doors? They must be sh*tting their pants.”

Schiff laughed, but then said, “They all want something from this president before the wheels come completely off the wagon. They want their tax cuts, they want their regulatory repeal of all the mining regulations, etc. And then they’ll find their spine.”

Hard to stick that spine back together once it's been shattered.

a chance, he has not proven he knows what is the proper way to govern, the worst president, most corrupt and is unfit to serve as president.

He is a true patriot. He outlined everything succinctly and logically. He even admitted where he dropped the ball. Also made the point that Obama should have forgotten about optics and went to the American people about the Russian hacking and levied sanctions BEFORE the election, not after.

He reminds me a lot of Obama with how cool, calm, collected and brilliant he is, but without the baggage of having to be a black man.

I've been around for awhile. Every single time Republicans have come into power in my lifetime, they've extensively looted and pillaged the public treasury and lands. They take away protections from the poor, sick and vulnerable and turn them into commodities for the rich and powerful.

I've posted this before:

But agree that they are all trying to glue, tape, rubber-band, and chewing gum the entire dysfunctional WH operation together, in order to keep it from flying apart before they get their draconian agendas enacted.

The question here is why they think Pence wouldn't also rubber stamp their agenda too, but without all the drama. It seems odd that they are still clinging to the madman unless they think it would be a bigger 2018 rout if they got rid of him now vs if they could hold on until after 2018 and then install Pence.

If they take down Trump but leave Pence, McConnell & Ryan, the malignancy is still there.
