"That's because you, Russia, funded riots in Ferguson" - Louise Mensch

http://www.snopes.com/blm-ferguson-russia/

On 9 April 2017, political commentator, prolific Twitter user and former British member of Parliament Louise Mensch tweeted to her 224,000 followers that the Black Lives Matter protests in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014 were funded by the Russian government.

The claim was soon picked up by others, and quickly started roaring around social media. Mensch did not offer any evidence for her claim nor an explanation as to why a “riot” would need any funding source. But there is no credible evidence for the claim; the unrest in Ferguson unfolded organically, and because it was well-documented by people with camera phones and the news media, it can be traced from the moment Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown (an unarmed 18-year-old African-American man) to the marches and street violence that resulted.

BLM activists should be livid at her being given a platform, totally diminishes what they were doing in Ferguson.

The odd thing about the "she's been right about everything" mantra is that it is never accompanied with (a) list of things she has predicted and (b) indication of whether they turned out to be correct.

No one has actually sought to prove this point, other than by cherrypicking two or three things she's said, and claiming that sample shows how "she's been right about everything".

It's a common theme with so-called psychics. I've never seen any kind of "batting average" for her, just "she's been right about everything".

She's NOT our friend.

She's a CT loon and should be treated as such. Yes, she was right about something. ONCE.

Agree with OP regards BLM activists being livid at Mensch.

Mensch is likely an intelligence agency asset, is a suspect source, and serves unclear agenda.

Makes me ill to see the regard many hold in Mensch.

Whether Mensch is pro-facts or actually what proportion of her reportage is factual is the question.

I don't find Mensch to be particularly pro-Democratic as there is an element to mislead and over all agenda is unclear.

Is that the Trump-Russia thing gets overplayed and forces Cheeto Donnie to do something aggressive towards Russia thrusting us into war.
