White House National Security Apparatus ready to react to this development. (General McMaster)
I hope to hell they prepared for the push back they are about to face.
Lets Just Hope!

(9,670 posts)Apparently he was in the Oval Office when the security breach took place.
And WaPo's sources were current and former WH officials...so....who leaked?
who was in the room?

(14,040 posts)Is a possibility. A Russian leaks to WaPo and then WaPo calls their sources inside IC to confirm what the Russians leaked.
Look at the chaos they would create with such a leak.

(19,564 posts)Heads will roll, but not at the agency's reporting the story, it'll be the leakers.
While I agree this had to come out, it's the sort of nationally damaging info which wouldn't normally be leaked, let alone reported on. This is very bad for the US intelligence community, NSA, our military and basically every person living in the USA.

Both the WaPo and NYT can take care of themselves. Between them they have over 170 Pulitzers for investigative journalism.
It's the GOP that's running scared. 45's in trouble.
Of course, 45 never COULD "lock Hillary up" because it was nothing but lies, right?
