Someone I know on facebook is your "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" kind of guy. I've pointed out multiple times how social programs have benefited him...and he just gets angry over it. He started a new business, guess things weren't going as well as he planned... he started a go fund me page to pay for his and family's rent. No one has donated because he's been an a-hole to a lot of people with his conspiracy theories. And given the city he lives in is "blue", he's lucky no one has looked up his visible political beliefs. But lo and behold, he's begging for a hand out for his bad decisions....and I doubt he will change his views.
