actually, the intensity of this thought is accelerating. Reaching Spinal Tap level 11. Where to next?
(thanks to the wonderful Solly Mack for helping me add that extra excruciating day!)

(19,558 posts)I guess we were both in a bit of denial?
I turned to my husband and said, "were already to this point on day 116. I'm actually shocked he's screwed up this badly in such a short period of time!"
It's good to know we're one day further into the end of Trump than I thought, but the general premise still stands. We're less than 120 days in and they're honestly imploding already. I thought we'd not see this level of obvious exposure of their corruption until after the 2018 midterm elections.
Take heart, I think this bodes better for us this way than if it would have drug out further before becoming blatantly obvious. The Republicans are now mired in his disgusting swamp of corruption for their whole campaign cycle of 2018, and quite possibly 2020 as well!
P.S. This will further hamper their legislative abilities, too. Just as a bonus, I saw Sheldon Adelson met with McConnel today. I can guess he's ticked off about not getting what he paid the GOP for (end to Obamacare, and his tax cuts) yet, and he was putting thumb screws to McConnel. They're under pressure from all fronts!
