Louisiana caves to the racist

Not able to stop local cities and towns from destroying their "heritage", the nitwits twisted some arms of the state political nitwits to pass a bill.

On Monday, the Louisiana House passed a bill that would require an election before any war memorial is removed or even altered. The legislation was approved by a House committee earlier this month, after the first Confederate monument in New Orleans came down.


&quot The bill)... stipulates that “no public memorial, including any structure, plaque, statue, monument, school, street, bridge, building, park, or area, that has been dedicated in memory of or named for any historical military figure, historical military event, military organization, or military unit shall be altered, removed, relocated, destroyed, rededicated, or renamed.”



In other words if a town wants to rename an alleyway-Bedford Forrest Lane, for example to Bluebird Lane- a special election MUST be held. Does not bode well for all those Louisiana towns with white majority voters.
