Can we take a moment to enjoy the view?

... I know we're all amidst a fervor to get Trump gone and I do believe it's coming - maybe not today or tomorrow, but at some point. Even with Pence at the helm at the very least the daily drama, the whining, the snot-nosed tweets and arrogant infantile behavior will stop. We'll still have to remain active and resist, but at least the orange shitgibbon will be hurled back to his stupid tower to go sell more crap to idiots.

But can we take a moment to bask in the sun, as it were, and enjoy the situation?

We have a complete turd of a President who is beleaguered on all sides, being exposed on a daily basis for the dishonest filthy traitor scum that he is. And his hands are virtually tied amidst scandal as he wriggles like a bug on a pin, frantically denying everything and digging himself deeper into shit. No time to argue for that stupid wall; he's busy crying and howling about fake news. No further ability to deport Muslims; he's up at 6 AM tweeting garbage.

We have a pack of pukes in Congress known as the Republican party, and they are truly between a rock and a hard place. Supporting Toxic Trump could end their careers, but so could abandoning him. They are on the edge of a knife and must know one wrong move and they are screwed. That has got to be eating away at them - and the ones guilty of corruption must be sweating and running scared.

We have a horde of mindless simpletons out there who will back Trump no matter what. He could literally rape their mothers in front of them and they would insist "she was asking for it!" And they are dutifully at work every day carrying water for Trump and sniveling loudly that whatever he does is just fine when everyone knows if Hillary had done 1/100th of it they would shriek themselves hoarse braying for not just her impeachment but her public execution. Nothing has ever exposed the complete and shameless hypocrisy of these fuckers more than their knee-jerk defense of Trump. It's now their job to madly spin and excuse whatever he does... or just stick their heads in the sand and ignore it. Either way, these people have become a laughingstock and are receiving the brunt of the blame for the monster they put in office. And they know it. They're furious nobody is just lying down and letting Trump have his way; he's been fought and blocked at every turn and they are MISERABLE at the "unfairness" of it all. And nobody has to take these shits seriously ever again. Next time they whine that a Democratic President didn't say "Bless you" when someone sneezed we can backhand them across the face and say "Shut the fuck up, you little turd! You were fine with a dishonest, moronic sexual assaulter colluding with a foreign government to get elected, so you don't get to whine about anyone ever again!"

And finally we have the holier-than-thou types who strut around insisting "There's no difference between the two parties" and "Both sides are the same." These fuckwits are part of the reason Trump slithered into office. They voted third party since "I just couldn't vote for Hillary Clinton" and Trump was the result. A special middle finger to those dickheads, because Trump proves there is a VERY big fucking difference between the parties. Had Hillary been elected she would be scandal-free six months in and we'd be calmly discussing health care improvements, better diplomacy, education for rural parts of the country and other mundane stuff. You know, NOT Russian collusion with a bunch of crooked puppets or obstruction of justice.

All of the groups above are having a very bad day today, and each day is worse than the last. This trend will only continue. If all goes well it will be a generation before the Republican Party manages to crawl out of the gutter and put on some kind of show of competence and/or decency.

And I, for one, think that's what is called "karma."

Since the day *after* the inauguration. I knew the tide was finally turning! People got UP (off their complacent asses) and OUT! Town halls, calling, marches, running for office...you name it! With each outrage more stand up and get busy!

We have reached an especially savory point though. The Rs are not trying to put up a strong defense of this shit any more. I think it is sinking in they won't be able to keep their somewhat useful idiot around long enough to realize their legislative hopes and dreams. He has become too toxic.

lolz How fucked they all are delights me on a daily basis.
