I thought the CoC was established to help promote business and commerce interests through lobbying and education about legislative issues. This direct involvement in a campaign is misuse of tax dollars, IMO.

They are a black marl for our Democracy and dirty as Hell!

They started several courthouse news papers newspapers design to misinform potential jurors with propaganda and lies about upcoming trials. They all have "Record" in the name. The one in my town is the Southeasttexasrecord.com. Their first issues had no advertising so they later realized people were not taking them seriously. They started advertising and trying to appear like a regular paper, but every story had a pro corporate/Defendant bent.

They sided with BP in the Gulf oil spill filing amicus briefs in the Court of Appeals. We sent a copy of the brief to the local Chambers of Commerce along the Gulf coast. They were shocked their national organization was selling them out!

They don't disclose that they own the papers, it is all about spreading misinformation to help corporate defendants and insurance companies win at our expense.

The Chamber is pure evil!
