GREAT news, TAXPAYERS! Trump foreign trip includes Melania, Jared, Ivanka, Reince, Steve, & Spicey!

Donald Trump is turning his first foreign trip as president into a family vacation. Not only will first lady Melania Trump accompany him, as reported last week, but so too will his daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband.

Several White House officials told Politico that Ivanka Trump, whose official title is assistant to the president, and Jared Kushner, whose official title is senior adviser, will tag along with the commander-in-chief's entourage for at least part of the upcoming tour to Saudi Arabia, Israel, the Vatican, Rome, Brussels and Sicily. Other people traveling with Donald Trump for legs of the journey include press secretary Sean Spicer, chief of staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon.

If you've ever watched those reality shows where the group votes someone off the island or out of the house, you know that the players never want to get too complacent. Inevitably, when a contestant feels the safest and isn't securing his alliances and monitoring conversations, that person winds up on the short end of a vote. Ivanka, Jared, Sean, Reince, and Steve are all going to keep an eye on each other.

Notably, Kellyanne Conway isn't going on the trip. Anyone want to rate her chances of still being employed at the Trump White House come Flag Day?

There is open discussion about him or moving him from in front of the cameras.

That's right, the same man behind Islamofascism Awareness week at Duke, and the coauthor of the Muslim ban.

Then there's Jared. He's been the coordinator for the entire trip, arranging all the meetings and such.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

WASHINGTON — For months, President Trump’s senior advisers had planned his first foreign trip with hopes of investing it with historic grandeur: a tour of the world’s three great monotheistic religions, capped by an address to the Muslim world in Saudi Arabia that will serve as Mr. Trump’s answer to the speech former President Barack Obama gave in Cairo in 2009.

Now, though, a cascade of damaging disclosures about the president and his relationship with Russia has shredded the White House’s narrative. Mr. Trump will go abroad on Friday less as an anti-Obama figure than as a latter-day Richard M. Nixon or Bill Clinton — a wounded president fleeing political storms at home for an uncertain welcome overseas.

<>

“It’s a huge burden on the American psyche to have a president go abroad when a sword of Damocles is hanging over them at home,” said Douglas Brinkley, a professor of history at Rice University and an expert on the presidency. “It turns our president, instead of representing the best of America on the road, into a traveling can of worms.”

<>

For his part, Mr. Trump, a confirmed homebody, has expressed dread about the trip, asking aides whether it can be shortened to five days from nine. His advisers concede that the intense schedule — dozens of interactions with leaders from the Middle East and Europe, over a range of delicate issues — could produce unscripted, diplomatically perilous moments.

Basically, Trump is clueless and relying on Jared who knows nothing about the roll of a foreign diplomat. They've already started several fires, There's the Muslim ban, the Western Wall and Trump leaking Mossad's intel to Russia, just to name a few. It's most probably not going to go well, and all they're really hoping for is it doesn't publicly go bad.

I'm betting day 6 or 7 Trump has an 'event' if they can't find enough ways to keep him distracted and entertained.
