How to survive the current turmoil:

At 7:00 am my granddaughters, 3 and 5, were dropped off. I babysat until until 2:00. No tv, no news. We painted rocks, we made glitter pictures, we played on the dock and threw sticks in the lake, we fed the ducks, we ignored all news and politics. Best day I've had in ages.

both body and mind. I visited April, Oliver and Tajiri the giraffes, along with all of the other animals, at the Animal Adventure in Harpursville, NY yesterday. It was the best medicine on earth to get away from all of the political s**t that mentality and physically destroys you. Everyone needs a break from the calamity.
Thanks for posting your mental health day Atman! Grandkids and animals are the best!

Multiple generations playing and working together, disconnected from the centralized infotainment system, making and maintaining bonds with neighbors.

You're doing it right.
