There's something weird happening with the Seth Rich stories...

I just happened to be reading a pro-Trump subreddit earlier today (I do it for entertainment) and noticed a bunch of posts about Rich. A few hours ago NPR posted a story calling it a conspiracy theory on Facebook. The comments on NPR posts are usually fairly centrist if not liberal and right-wing comments very rarely get upvoted much. But all of the most upvoted comments for the Rich story are from right-wingers calling NPR hypocrites and suggesting the story is true.

Someone is making a concerted effort to reinvigorate the Rich conspiracy through social media.

into Russia trying to influence the US elections would then be untrue. We know Russians did leak to wikileaks. This is just the escape hatch conspiracy of psychopaths trying to make themselves innocent. Most often they run a 'truth line' as events are happening. Because they know they might get caught. In this case they just took advantage of one murder of one of millions of Democratic election workers that fit into the time line.

Such a tragedy for his family. And anyone who believes the conspiracy.

Probably Bannon/Breitbart cronies doing their desperate best to holler, "Look over there!"

And does anyone imagine that all of those Ruskie bots have just walked away from their keyboards?

They know that they're going down, hard. I don't put it past them to do anything, everything, even the worst we could imagine, to maintain their insidious agenda.

It's liberal democracy they're after and every single thing that it stands for.

They've already done their best to infiltrate, divide, and defeat the grassroots movement that's sparking across our nation since the buffoon was elected, just look at how intensive the attacks on Senator Sanders have been.

even worse. By devising new conspiracy theories about Hillary and the dnc basically they are admitting that Trump is a shit president bogged down in endless scandals. When the Vince Foster conspiracies started Bill Clinton was president so they were trying to hurt the current pres. Going after someone who ran (and won the popular vote) for pres but is not the pres reveals how totally desperate they are to distract from his huuuuuuuge failures.

On Monday night, Rod Wheeler, a private investigator and Fox News contributor, put things in motion during an interview with WTTG-TV, a Fox affiliate in Washington.

Wheeler, who was under contract with the family of Seth Rich, a Democratic National Committee staffer who was fatally shot in July, told WTTG-TV evidence existed that proved Rich had been in contact with Wikileaks before his death.
...
But Tuesday afternoon, Wheeler told CNN he had no evidence to suggest Rich had contacted Wikileaks before his death.

Wheeler instead said he only learned about the possible existence of such evidence through the reporter he spoke to for the FoxNews.com story. He explained that the comments he made to WTTG-TV were intended to simply preview Fox News' Tuesday story. The WTTG-TV news director did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

"I only got that (information) from the reporter at Fox News," Wheeler told CNN.

They were running wild with it yesterday (right around the time DU was attacked again -- it looks like they were linked). Of course one wonders why -- if it WERE a murder as these Pizzagate conspiracy theorists/Wikileaks garbage consumers believe, and it was ordered by the DNC and/or Hillary, why wouldn't those people (presumably "professionals&quot have been better at making it look like a robbery by stealing his wallet, etc? These whack jobs never seem to think of that for some reason when they are running wild with their Hillary stories. In their worldview the evil doers always leave behind obvious clues they "find."

Honestly I have no idea what they think they are getting out of it. They won't convince anyone of anything, and the police aren't taking this case anywhere they want it to go (lock her up, of course, since that is their life mission). The family of Seth Rich wants no part of them or their conspiracy theories, and the police consider it a robbery attempt gone awry, which does happen, even in nice neighborhoods in which such crime is rather rare. It might also have been a gang initiation as this happens as well. Rich was out at 4:30 a.m. when he was murdered, and such an early hour, when the neighborhood would have been sleeping and no one would have been on the streets, is exactly the time of day when a criminal might try to exploit a lone person in a neighborhood like this one.

These jerks have been harassing the family with their theories, and of course because neither the police or the family want any part of their conspiracies they believe the "Deep State" (ruled over of course by the apparently god-superhero-batman-powered Hillary) is behind some massive cover-up. So it's basically Pizzagate redux. But this seems worse to me since they are going after a family in mourning.

It's a concerted effort by paid Russian trolls, who by far make up the most of the Seth Rich crowd, and I suspect they were after us yesterday as well. Reddit is very close to killing their subreddit (named after The Donald -- it is the most embarrassing example of hero-worship and blind cultlike devotion that I've ever seen especially to a modern politician -- it's hard to know if it's all genuinely stupid people posting endless clumsy spin on Trump and very cultish fanboy nonsense or a bunch of paid trolls encouraging a handful of Trump cult believers and a few curious onlookers. My guess is the later -- just imho of course).
