I'm halfway through "Get Me Roger Stone" on Netflix.

That guy is quite literally a psychopath of the first degree.

I fully knew he was awful, and I seen how he acts and he conducts himself, but just seeing it all play out through the decades is just mindblowing.

The most astonishing thing is that the filmmakers don't seem to have much desire for it to be a puff piece on Stone. From all accounts, they have no interest in depicting him in a positive light. And yet you see Stone in the interviews just eating it up, not caring in the least that he's being potrayed as a dirty trickster and pretty much all that is wrong with politics.

It's a frightening portrayal of a man with absolute zero shame.

It's fascinating, but extremely hard to watch. Not only do you have to deal with interviews with Stone himself, but you also see Paul Manafort and Donald Trump himself being interviewed. And your screen just oozes with an overdose of disgust.

You'll want to shower afterwards. I'm not joking.

I think he and Bannon are neck in neck in physical creepiness to match their creepy personalities, but in much different ways. Bannon clearly doesn't care what he looks like and therefore is a hot mess, and Stone goes overboard to make sure he looks as absolutely skeezy as possible.

He's likely even more emboldened after Trump's victory justified his arrogance. Many Americans are very much on board with these two assholes . . . enough to waltz Trump into the White House, and that's all that matters.
