Some middle class Trump voters are going to get a rude shock when the Republicans

cut Medicaid, and their relatives aren't able to get Medicaid to pay for their nursing home expenses.

I'd love to see their faces...

DISCLAIMER: I personally don't want to see Medicaid cut. I hate to see the Republicans take what's left of the US safety net and trash it. And I know that plenty of Medicaid recipients are poor.

I fear.

I hate thinking this (which I've been thinking every since Trump entered the WH).
I hate saying this (which I've refrained from saying for months now)
I hate believing this (but I believe it is inevitable)

it will get real for them quickly when the nursing homes drop Grandma off in the driveway.

My dad spent two years in a hospital wing of a nursing home and, though my parents were able to afford it, we sweated every month of the time.
It cost $13,000.00 per months and we had to pay three months upfront. How will people afford this? This is what will finally destroy the middle class because it destroys inheritance for all but the rich. Inheritance is what created the middle class, and this is what their ultimate plan is...reduce us once again to working poor.

Human rendering!

Whole fleets of flatbed trucks will be assigned to pick up "post-life" human bodies as they collapse and are dragged into the streets for disposal. Survivors of these tragedies will be billed, as there will be no public funds to provide this service. Survivors who are registered Republicans will receive a 10% discount.

care, which can cost up to $20,000 a month. Do you or your parents have an extra $500,000 saved for a medical illness or just end-of-life medical care? My mother spent the last 3 years of her life in a nursing home, from age 92 to 95. Fortunately, she was able to pay for her care from the sale of my parents' farm. But, as above, there went our inheritance.

Republicans think they are only hurting their arch enemy, poor people, but those millions of impoverished consumers spend every nickel they have just trying to survive. When all those households suddenly lose the majority of their purchasing power, that disruption will ripple outward and become a significant threat to our economy that will affect both retail and wholesale businesses.
