Sweden drops case

British police said Friday that they would have to arrest WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for breaching his bail if he leaves Ecuador’s embassy ... if Assange were to return to Sweden before the statute of limitations for the suspected offenses expires in August 2020, the investigation could be reopened ...

So while there are people in the US who dislike him, his legal troubles have everything to do with not using a condom, as asked, and nothing to do with anything else.
