Does tRump want to be excluded from G7?

Just thinking about it. Used to be G8 before Putin acted up. Now the rest of the countries have got to be asking themselves if there is anything American can bring to the table or if we are just a Russian satellite. Plus, it would fit tRump's desire to go it alone, not bound by any alliances.

He seemed to be upset that the other leaders were his peers not his underlings. This is the first time that the people he is working with are just as powerful as he is. I think that is why he wants to leave NATO, the UN, the G7 etc. He needs to be king of the playground or he will take all his toys home.

I guess he might have understood the economic sovereignty of the UK and liked the idea. I'll give him credit for a basic understanding of the EU, just about as much understanding of the G7. And he has to preserve his anti-regulatory stance by not agreeing to the climate accord.

Trump voices concerns on US jobs being lost because of Brexit

President Donald Trump might have once supported the British decision to leave the European Union, but he is now seemingly worried about the impact of Brexit for U.S. workers.

"On Brexit, (Trump) expressed concern that jobs in the U.S. would be lost because of Brexit," a European official, who asked not to be named because the discussions were private, told journalists on Thursday morning in Brussels.

The same official added that there was an agreement between the three leaders (Trump, European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker) to step up the fight against the self-proclaimed Islamic State. A spokesperson for the U.S. president wasn't immediately available for comment for when contacted by CNBC.

'Cordial and friendly discussion'

The comments came as the U.S. president was visiting the Belgium capital. Trump's protectionist approach has previously diminished European efforts to reach a trade deal with the U.S.

Six months ago he thought Brexit was wonderful and offered congratulations. I think we are the same stage now with G7. There is every possibility that he could get us thrown out and then regret it later. He does not seem to learn from his past mistakes. Set in his ways, I guess.
