I know the Hollywood district where that tragedy took place. Even in 'liberal' Portland, there are Alt-Wrong white supremacists. As a white male, I hate those bastards.

8. I'm a near life long resident of Portland, Oregon...

...and this mentally insane piece of shit never should have been on the streets in the first place. There was a video of a previous altercation where the Portland Police confiscated a baseball bat from this ranting lunatic just weeks before. This is what the country is faced with.

We have "street people", many seriously mentally unstable, on the streets all over downtown Portland and elsewhere in the city and beyond. Thank you B-actor Ronnie for cutting back funds to let these people wander the streets of our cities even yet today.

I used to take my third grade class on a walking field trip of downtown Portland, and we had to ALWAYS discuss with the volunteers AND the students that they were to be extremely careful of the "street people", who wander the streets, panhandling and talking to themselves. It's a scary situation, and these people need assistance, and get very little to none.

This lunatic was a known problem, but we'd rather lock up some kid for a minor altercation (possession of weed prior to legalization), or keep our taxes low so we can draw more business to the PNW and not scare all our wealthy residents to leave to tax haven states. Consequently, we have roads with pot holes big enough to bust a front axles all over the city; people living in tents all around the city or even rolled up in a sleeping bag in the downtown areas...because we can't address their issues due to keeping those almighty taxes low. I'm so sick of this fucked up fiscal nightmare. We have slid so far away from that myth of the "shining city on the hill" bull shit.

Now we have the repuKKKes doing us a moral favor by slashing programs for the poor and near poor in food stamps, assistance, education, and so on down the line. We are devolving into a place I am ashamed of.
