US military bases may be important for the town they are near, but not remotely important to Germany economically. Strategically, the bases ARE important for Germans and our country. We route a lot of our military activity worldwide through those bases. But you are right, I doubt that Germans will act impulsively and kick our troops out of their country.

If anything, the sanctions will be placed against us when we put sanctions on the EU and other nations.
