ACA $$$ increases and insurance co's drop out of states

Seems to me, those states where insurance companies are losing $$$ and some dropping from states all together, is because Medicare was NOT expanded in those states.
Main reason GOP failed to expand it. GOP knew $$$ would increase for companies.
ACA meant for Medicare to be expanded.
GOP made sure it wasn't
Another GOP IED for Americans

is because they got screwed by Marco Rubio and the Rs.

The ACA provided subsidies to the insurance companies to help offset losses that they would incur by insuring risky patients. The Rs cut these payments that were ordered by law. That meant that the insurance companies were not being compensated as promised for widening the risk pool, which meant their losses were not offset.

It's a simple case of "burn me once." Why would the insurance companies continue to insure high-risk patients if all it meant was that their profits would decrease dramatically? They see that the Rs refused to fund the subsidies while the ACA was in full force. They look into the future and can see that with the Rs now killing the ACA, that there won't even be a pretense of their losses being offset.

Ergo, pull out of the markets and stop the bleeding.

for "risk corridors" brought on by a one Token Rubio, that caused insurance companies to pull out of the insurance markets.
