Any chance some of these leaks are disinformation?

Not one to be paranoid, but sometimes I think it's a bit too convenient that we have these daily stories about tRumpco, their traitorous acts, mendacity, etc. It's almost too good to be true.

Which makes me wonder if a % of these stories have been planted as disinformation in an effort to cast doubt on the stories that are 100% true. It wouldn't be unusual to have tRump loyalists acting as "sources" for media types, when they are in fact planting lies today, with the plan of later revealing that they were a source of "fake news." The claim could be made that it was an exercise to prove how gullible the MSM is when it comes to reporting fake news. It's a Gish Gallop - discredit one story to cast doubt on the rest.

Which is why I hope these media types all have double, triple and more sources behind the stories that are now emerging.

3. NY Times and Wash. Post are extremely cautious, sat on backchannel story for months

Several media outlets had the Steele Dossier for months and never reported a peep about it until Buzzfeed leaked it. Wash Post had an anonymous backchannel allegation for months before getting several more sources just recently providing confirmation. I am not too concerned about disinformation since these outlets are extremely cautious, and were actually too cautious during election and failed to reveal enough about Trump/Russia connections.

Even after NY Times and Wash. Post and Reuters etc. break stories, NBC, CBS , ABC, etc have been independently confirming with their own sources before definitely reporting.

WaPo let it be known that is exactly why it would not report that without attributing it to people close to Kushner. The NYT is still trying to curry favor with the WH for useless scoops.
