Top White House aides – including Mr Trump’s trusted adviser Steve Bannon – are increasingly worried that the so-called “deep state” is conspiring to bring the presidency down, sources tell Politico.

Deep state = American patriots. Not just the deep state. Over 1/2 voters want to bring down Trump and his goons. Always always always see themselves as "victims," when criticized. Basically it's those who have the controlling interests in several major inverstment firms through which they control practically every major industry and financial institution on the planet plus the IMF, WBO among others which have members of those investment firms as perminent seats on their boards... plus some ancient families to whom governments owe huge amounts for financing hundreds of years of war. It's history basically... Black Rock, Vanguard, State Street, the Rothschild family... the list goes on...

15. The concept of what people are calling deep state

has been around long before the term was sensationalized. No matter.. neither of us can do any more than follow the trail and an historical trail it is with or without the stupid term and it's not that hard to follow.
As far as Russian sympathizers, they'll use anything as a device, so I'd say that point sort of cancels itself out. You'd have to take them seriously for it to matter.

And give credit where credit is due. The deep state, whoever all of them are, seems to be doing a fairly good job at digging up incriminating evidence. As far as the FBI is concerned, that IS their job.

Most of us don't want to be ruled by Russia. But without law enforcement and intelligence services, we'd have little to no defense against Trumpy's Russian Brigade.
