(13,390 posts)She was someone who took the risk to reveal her flaws and screw ups and weirdness without reservation. That she was a part of an ego driven culture of celebrity and let her freak flag fly conveyed warmth and relatability.

(24,653 posts)Are you aware of her advocacy on behalf of destigmatizing mental illness? Her push back against female stereotypes in Hollywood? She stood up to petty bullshit and called people on it. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind. I would say that is pretty bad ass.
