A Clue for the Clueless GOP

Since the day Trump was inaugurated, we have been told by the Republican spokes-mouths in the media that this whole Russia investigation/Comey firing/inane tweets/Kushner back-channels/Flynn collusion/voter fraud – need I go on? – topics are being raised by godless libruls in order to keep Idiot Boy from the important task of pursuing his agenda to “make America great again”.

Here’s a hint: TRUMP HAS NO AGENDA. He has absolutely no idea what is in any bill being advanced by Republicans. He is completely ignorant of anything that is going on in the country he pretends to lead. He has no interest in doing anything that keeps him away from his Twitter account, his TV, and his golf game.

He is not being distracted from doing anything. On the contrary; he himself is trying to distract you GOPers – and the nation at large – from the obvious fact that he has no idea whatsoever what he’s doing.

The truth is that Mr. Tangerine Man persists in “fighting back ten times harder” against everything – from honest reporting of the many investigations into his probable criminal activity to perceived personal slights – because it distracts YOU from the obvious: He can’t do the job he was elected to do, and he’s hoping that with all of the “distractions” he allegedly has to deal with, you simply won’t notice how totally incompetent he is, and how completely uninterested he is in the responsibilities of his office.

The over-arching truth is that Trump isn’t being distracted from the duties of his office, as evidenced by the fact that he himself is the root cause of those “distractions”. He has consistently doubled-down when challenged, and has constantly throw gasoline on even the smallest fires – anything that provides an excuse for spending his days tweeting nonsense instead of attending to the nation’s business.

I might remind Republicans that when Bill Clinton was under investigation for Whitewater, and later for his relationship with Monica Lewinsky, he continued to govern a nation and fulfill the duties of POTUS. He did not spend his days publicly maligning his detractors – and he certainly didn’t abandon his responsibilities by claiming that he was “distracted” from doing so due to what was going on in the media.

Face it, Republicans. You elected an incompetent idiot to the highest office in our country, and he continues to demonstrate that incompetence on a daily basis. He quickly figured out that if he finds – or more to the point, actually creates – enough distractions from that incompetence, you’ll be too busy looking the other way to realize just how unfit for office he apparently is.

Trump’s “presidency” is a classic case of there being no “there” there – no intellect, no common sense, no decency, no sense of responsibility, no ability to lead, no interest in the country or its citizens – no ability to even recognize that when you’re at the bottom of a hole, it’s a good idea to stop digging.

Well, you Republicans can huff and you can puff about how your Little Piggy is a poor, defenceless victim – when everyone knows it’s his own self-generated pigshit that has put him in that easily-blown-down house.

The reality is that your so-called pResident’s behaviour has proven that huffing and puffing is all he’s capable of doing. And your continued defence of his idiocy is, if nothing else, incredibly entertaining.

Oh, and by the way – the minute your rhetoric changed from the investigations into Trump’s collusion with the Russians being "unfounded allegations" to being “not a crime if it happened”, you gave yourselves away. It’s sad enough that you are trying to defend a traitor – the fact that you are more than willing to do so speaks for itself.

person as president or have they totally buried their heads in the sand and choose to ignore the truths about Trump. Either way, it is a failing path. If the Congress had the guts to stand up to Trump and tell him things will change or he will be gone it would allow some confidence in a Republican congress but I doubt this will happen either.

I had a discussion this week with a RWer and apparently the big problem is they still believe Hillary gave the uranium to Russia though this has been dispelled many times. Their other argument is "Well Obama did it also", don't know where this one comes.

We have to vote the Republicans out of office, it is the only fix. Go back to the platform which Democrats won with for many years, attract Independents and then we need to deliver.

Thanks for your prospective, I enjoyed.

is also in collusion with Russia and other non friends of the US. They have become representatives of Mammon instead of their constituents and so long as PINO helps them to keep the money rolling in, they will adoringly support him and the citizens of the US be damned.

And therefore isn't hoping to distract us. It's the way he's always operated.

How I see it is this way: he is only ever concerned with his image, his poll numbers, his ratings. That occupies every brain cell he's got. It has always been easy for him to fake real accomplishments or be bailed out by someone else, and take little to no responsibility for his failures. Attacks people because he thinks he has to look tough.

This job is no different. Defend the "brand" with all you've got, and fake the rest. I really believe that he thinks that is all there is to being President. Use his "wonderful" personal charm to make the whole world respect him! Play the media! Lie about any facts that get in the way.

Oh, the hard work? Someone else will do it and he'll be sure to take the credit.

Revival of the Know-nothing party of 1853-1856? The Know-nothing Party's ideology is similar to present-day white-Christian-terrorist republikkklanmen as its "primary aim was to keep control of government in native hands" that is, wypipo folk ONLY hands, and NOT in the hands of hyphenated Americans, the not real Americans such as Mexican/Hispanic/ Latino Africans, Native/indigenous, Asians, Muslims--well technically all brown and black people. Be it known, that in AD 2017, nothing much has changed; that we have a know-nothing white-racist republican congress; a liar and racist and very mal hombre as president, who literally knows nothing about anything.
