I don't remember the details - but didn't Rudy step in it with respect to Hillary's e-mails? Just wondering if he knew or had contact with the Repug operative Peter W. Smith of WSJ article fame?

1. Rudy was smirking and indicating he knew something before Comey's catastrophic intervention

in the campaign. I've always wondered if the underage girl on Anthony Wiener's laptop email was planted there for the purpose of making a big deal out of old Hillary emails that amounted to nothing. Apparently Smith had been on an anti-Clinton campaign since Bill Clinton was Arkansas governor so he and Rudy must have crossed paths somewhere along the way given they were both wealthy, Republican Clinton haters.
