that have never eaten poutine! But everyone I know who has delved into this regional delight says it's really, really good! (Don't believe it myself...)
When anyone asks me if I'm proud to be Canadian, I usually answer that I'm grateful. Today I met a lovely couple from Brooklyn who were visiting my beautiful town in Niagara. The conversation took an interesting turn when they mentioned our Prime Minister, and how much they wished he was theirs. They know all about Trump and have nothing but contempt for the manner in which he has conducted himself since January 20. They're embarrassed by him, but I hastened to assure them that the world's contempt is for Trump and his followers, and not for the vast majority of Americans such as themselves. We hugged and said goodbye and safe travels.
