Faithful Hannity hears dog whistle, ready to resurrect the Scarborough / Lori Klausutis story

Fox News host Sean Hannity has engaged in a lengthy feud with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough that has grown nastier as Morning Joe has taken a more critical tone towards President Donald Trump. Therefore, when Trump took to Twitter this week to personally attack Joe and his co-host (and fiancee) Mika Brzezinski and blew up the news cycle, Hannity made sure to throw himself directly into the mix.

And on Saturday, he made a veiled threat to the couple that he was just about ready to reveal some dirt about them:

"I'm am very very close to going "there" with Joe and Mika. Sick of their BS."

Yes, Hannity is indeed referencing the story of the dead intern found in Scarborough’s district office when he was still a Congressman in 2001. While there is absolutely no evidence Scarborough had anything to do with the office worker’s death, as it was found that she died from heart problems and hitting her head on a desk, conspiracy theories were tossed around claiming Joe was responsible and that’s why he resigned from Congress.

...it's the idea that Ms. Klausutis should be allowed to rest in peace, and her surviving family and friends should not have to see her memory become political fodder in a mud fight.

But that's politics. Like Ivanka said, who KNEW things could get so NASTY?

Please clarify what you mean, HipChick. Thanks.

In the meanwhile, here's a Stevie Wonder lyric that reflects my own opinion of all the GOP jackasses.

"You Haven't Done Nothin'"

We are amazed but not amused
By all the things you say that you'll do
Though much concerned but not involved
With decisions that are made by you

But we are sick and tired of hearing your song
Telling how you are gonna change right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
You haven't done nothing

It's not too cool to be ridiculed
But you brought this upon yourself
The world is tired of pacifiers
We want the truth and nothing else, yeah

And we are sick and tired of hearing your song
Telling how you are gonna change right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
You haven't done nothing

but if the President picks up the theme, then we are moving to a whole new level of insanity.

Well given he accused Cruz's father of assassinating JFK maybe it isn't a whole new level.

What will historians write about this time?

He ran the con job, people voted for him, and he is becoming an incrementally worse version of the person he's always been.

America got conned. Trump pulled off the "ultimate deal" and has been like a waterlogged dog next to a fire hydrant ever since.
