By Matthew Chapman | July 3, 2017

Right-wing MSNBC commentator Hugh Hewitt,......................................

.......................................

Hewitt is so desperate to make Trump look good that he once even apologized for asking Trump a foreign policy question he could not answer.

And while Hewitt has spent months denying there is any evidence Trump was involved with Russia’s interference in our election — once calling the allegations “baseless” — on Sunday, Hewitt finally admitted there is a possible way Trump’s inner circle could have been working with Russian hackers.

During a panel discussion on Meet the Press, Hewitt noted that new reports from the Wall Street Journal and Lawfare show a “path to collusion,” if the evidence bears out..................................

I wish we had patriots in the R party today.

But between that wish and a nickel I still dont have enough for a cup of coffee.

beyond just elections. They have even engineered overthrow of elected regimes including Dr Moosadegh in Iran and installed the dictator Shah.

It's not about what the Russians did. It's about BLOTUS' campaign team helping them do it.

which was, people who live in glass houses should refrain from throwing stones. Our own CIA has messed with elections in more countries than any other country. Especially in Africa, S America and S Asia.

You might want to read up a bit on the history of the C.I.A. There are plenty of good books on them out there.

Russian military is too big to take on. So only real option we have is economic sanctions. However Russia probably has more natural resources than any other country. And so it will be difficult to subdue Russia economically.

IMO, the best option is to reach a geo-political mutual consensus which serves both countries national interest.

Economically speaking at least. Militarily of course, large scale war is pretty much off the table when you have the number of nukes that they do.

even if Russia GDP is much smaller than China, Japan, US & EU, their vast natural resources from oil, nat gas, coal, wood, iron, copper, gold, silver, etc the growing world economy is hungry for. They can sell it on black market.

After the Crimea invasion, Europe tried sanctions, and got nowhere.

A resource poor country like Japan or UK would be much more susceptible to trade sanctions.

has already been a RW talking point for the past week or so. Brit Hume and other FOX idiots, as well as print and radio RWers and RW mouths on TV panels, have been spewing in concert to lay that lying groundwork, because they rightly fear that collusion will be proven.

we haven't gotten yet that proves collusion, and all these Trump(R) minions are trying to get out of the way before it is released. This way they can say later that they called it right.
