2020 will be the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment.

The 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920, and thus it was the first election in which women could vote in all states.

The poetic justice will be perfect. 2020, we elect a woman president. Bank on it

so I'm not expecting a woman president.

However, my great grandmother's proudest day was when she cast her first vote in 1920, along with my grandmother. My mother was too young, but had been with them in Suffragette marches in NYC.

2. I realize it and Hillary is right about that being a major factor in her loss.

It was her loss and our loss too. I don't get why no one (many women included) either ridicule her for saying so or don't even acknowledge it. Most countries both large and small and with varying religions, cultures and types of governments have had women leaders. Our country is so backwards in so many ways (race, religion, gender, etc). Even "liberals" display these prejudices sometimes. Other countries see this in us yet we are often blind to seeing it ourselves. Obama was hated for this very reason and still is. I doubt it will change in my lifetime unfortunately.
