So when it comes to comparing CNN’s current ratings to past ratings, the verdict is clear: They’ve moved up in several major categories compared to recent years.

For its part, CNN called its second-quarter figures a "ratings milestone," with the cable news network tallying a record number of total viewers, and its best second quarter since 2003 in terms of total day viewership among 25-54-year olds.

"CNN just posted its most-watched second quarter in history," a CNN public relations account tweeted in response to Trump. "Those are the facts."

In fact, CNN is at a five-year high in several key categories, according to data provided by the Nielsen Company.

1. I like to see "fake" fox news ratings go into the toilet.

CNN and MSNBC alongwith NBC, ABC and CBS are still owned by corporations. But fake news has and always be in your face lies, propaganda crap and hate radio. Now there are new rightwing media and Russian news. We have a up hill battle.

2. Look, the very fact that people are now employed to write

about just how false our "president's" Twitter claims are is beyond pathetic. What is even more pathetic is the fact that none of the tRump humpers are going over to Politifact to read the truth, so they are fact checking and writing articles for those of us who already know he's a liar. I'm throwing my hands in the air and asking, "What's the point?" We've gone from "I cannot tell a lie; I chopped down the cherry tree" to "Trust me, my crowds are the biggest ever!"
