However, when you go to use your fireworks please consider our veterans who may have PTSD because of being on the battle field and were exposed to gunfire and bombing. Thank you.

(11,686 posts)can't get out. funny story though, I had a Beagle who was not afraid of fire works and when I took him out there were some people using fire works on the road next to us and he just did his thing without a worry. I also have a friend who's Lab tried to attack them and you had to hold her back. The rest of the animals I have known though disappear to places in the house that are unknown.

(30,481 posts)You don't often hear about dogs being that comfortable around fireworks. A friend of mine lost his dog on the 4th. It was scared and wedged itself behind a large fishtank stand. When my friend went inside the breaker to that room was blown and the doggy was dead. It's a night when pet owners should really keep an eye on them.
