It's perfectly reasonable to see a bug and feel the need to wipe it off the face of the earth with hellfire.
Actually setting a fire, though, is usually not part of the plan.
Mike Tingley from Grand Blanc Township, Michigan, presumably didn't intend to burn his stand-alone garage to the ground Monday night.

(64,875 posts)There are a thousand ways to use a smoke bomb safely as a fumigant. Most of those, of course, are store bought and intended to be used indoors with nobody in the room(s).
I'm curious as to whether this guy built a mini-campfire in that garage and stray embers landed on cardboard, or something.
There is something missing from the story at this point.
