Why not tell the guy who just bought a ticket, that sorry they made an error and he would

have to find a different flight.

Is it too hard to do the right thing.

The person who bought the ticket ahead of time and is in the seat, flies in the seat they bought.. not some guy or woman who was stand by. Or not some other airline flight personnel.
