Gone into the meeting with irrefutable proof provided by our Intelligence Agencies that Russia hacked and interfered with our election. Then set down some new sanctions and a threat to even stiffer ones should they ever do it in the future.
You don't ask Putin if he/Russia hacked and interfered. You'd expect him to deny it - then you're dead in the water.
That's what Trump did because if he acknowledges Russian interference and hacking - it deligitimizes his win. He can't have that. Plus he's dissed our Intelligence Agencies. He couldn't bring proof of the interference because he's already discredited them.
So clearly Putin won today. But Trump is 'ok' with that because of his ego and the fact that in his mind his win is validated.
We got to get rid of Trump because everyday he diminishes this country on an on-going basis.
We need to take back the Senate & the House in 2018 and then immediately initiate impeachment proceedings.
If we don't we won't have a country left to defend.

(15,543 posts)It is not "honor" to meet a man who is attacking your country. You are supposed to defend America from russian ACTS OF WAR** Mister not submissively surrender and claim it an "honor."

(15,237 posts)That the Russians would have the gall to ask for seized property back speaks volumes. Soldiers agents assets in covert wars die real deaths.
