For me, who comes to this time slot to hear an unvarnished take on the news of the day and a direct rebuttal to the Trump administration and republicans, this is an untimely distraction for prime time weekday news.

This isn't what I'm looking for in this Friday, primetime spot - a huge climb down from Rachel, who I absolutely rely on. I'm 'stuck' with Anderson Cooper.
Everything I've written here is about the substance of the programs, not merely some kind of fandom.

Especially not on Friday news dump day.
I closed the online live stream that I use to watch once I realized this wasn't just an extended clip on her show but a totally different show and she was there to lead viewers into his show.

We still need our Rachel fix!
And Richard Engel is pretty damned smart, too. How about an audio podcast of his show. And add O'Donnell's as well.

(12,792 posts)this is a desperately needed history for those who don't understand how corrupt Putin and his government have become. Our government threatens to become more corrupt as well by this association.
