Ivanka Sat in for Dad, but Nobody Noticed, Really.

She sat mute and did not actually participate. In that, she behaved exactly as her father, PINO Trump behaved. He also did not participate in G20 discussions but sat, bored and inattentive during addresses and discussions. He could not be bothered with dealing with the concerns of the world leaders in attendance.

So, nothing was lost nor gained by having his unqualified child sit in his seat. When people looked toward his seat, they saw one or the other non-participant in the business of the G20. PINO Trump attended so he could have an audience with the leaders of Russia and China for a brief period to learn their instructions. He did not go to enter into discussions and negotiations with the traditional allies of the United States.

It was a matter of no consequence to have his daughter hold his seat. It was an empty seat, no matter who occupied it.

In an unusual move Ivanka Trump briefly took her father Donald's seat at a summit of world leaders on Saturday.

The US president had stepped away for a meeting with the Indonesian leader during the G20 meeting.

Ms Trump is an adviser to her father, but a leader's absence is usually covered by high-ranking officials.

A BBC correspondent at the summit said he could recall no similar precedent. There has been widespread criticism on social media

"US President Donald Trump’s Indonesian business partner has been questioned by police over alleged threats against a public prosecutor, officials said Friday.

Hary Tanoesoedibjo, a media and property mogul who is building two Trump Organization hotel projects, was summoned as a suspect Friday after an investigation was issued against him in June, a police spokesman said.

The 51-year-old business tycoon and politician has been named a suspect after police charged him with violating the electronic information and transaction law.

......

Tanoesoedibyo attended the US president’s inauguration in January, and described Trump’s win as inspiring.

Tanoesoedibyo is now banned from traveling abroad for the next six months, a spokesman of the immigration office told AFP, and if found guilty could be jailed for four years maximum.".....(more)

As you implied, it was so desired by Putin, and so delivered at the G20,

ladies and gentlemen we have a big, obnoxious, bombastic, empty vessel in the White House.

Donald Trump is an empty vessel for Paul Ryan

Donald Trump is an empty vessel for Mitch McConnell.

Donald Trump is an empty vessel for Mike Pence

Donald Trump is an empty vessel for the right wing Christians.

Donald Trump is an empty vessel for the right wing budget conservatives (fiscal)

Donald Trump is an empty vessel for the right wing corporate conservatives.

Donald Trump is an empty vessel for the Alt – right Bannon people.

And most dangerously, he is an empty vessel for Putin.

When so many people consider you an empty vessel for their purposes, maybe you are

Its stunning really how all of these groups from alex jones to the alt-right to the christian church has thrownthemselves all in on donald trump. Then i realized, he never said much beyond soundbites and "make america great again". So he became whatever these people wanted their president to be. A devoted christian man, an answer to the growing globalization, etc. The reason you cant reason with a hard core trump person is that they believe him to be what they want, not who he is.

tax cuts for the rich, disguised as healthcare for the working class.

The dismantling of a federal entitlement program, and give rich people tax cuts.

All before they actually admit to tax reform.

Ivanka Trump has broken with protocol and briefly taken her father US President Donald Trump's seat at the G20 leaders' summit in Hamburg.

Absences at the G20 are usually covered by high-ranking state officials.

The president has been criticised for crude remarks he has made about women over the years, including a recent tweet focusing on a television news host's appearance.

Mr Trump's senior staff is dominated by men.

Ms Trump has faced sustained criticism from opponents of her father who'd hoped she would be able to push him to adopt more moderate policies.
Many have labelled her "complicit" in his agenda.

many of your post: A Great deal was harmed has been done. America's dignity and respect by the other countries have been damage. We all Thought W was the lowest we could get on the world stage but today we have gone the lowest. At least for all his flaws and stupidity He had respect for the office of the President and it's position of the on the world stage. Yes, he may have had a junior highish understanding but he knew it was important. Looking back on it now I would take his Frat Boy shaking of Merkel.

What Trump has done was shown his true disregard to the importance of the Office of the President of the United States. He showed no respect or understanding of the history of the United States. He is treating that office and this country like a fucking company of his and farming out duties like a disinterested child 5 minutes after getting the toy he wanted for Christmas.

Yesterday he cow-towed to Putin showing more respect to that ---(I will hold my tongue for fear of getting kicked off the board.) than the bastard deserve. Now today not only does he disrespect our country and it's history but showed disrespect to our allies but his daughter showed how little she thinks of our constitution by sitting in place of the President. This would be like Theresa May sitting on Queen Elizabeth's throne ( sorry to those who may not have respect or like the royal family and it's history and what it stands for.--I think it was a beautiful tradition..yes, the family may fall short at times but they are human...and well humans are flawed.)

But if truth be told in our country The President is equalivant to a monarch and Trump and his family are pissing on it with the help of the republicans who have decided to become an authoritian party and have started a slow Coup of this country.

What I am babbling is that This is a BIG deal.

On AMJoy this morning, Jonathan Capehart was sitting in for Joy Reid and brought up the fact that since Trump doesn't like to read his briefing documents, his staff provided tweet-sized notes that he could use to prepare himself for the meetings and discussion groups. (This was reported in the LA Times article below.) How STUPID and LAZY does one have to be that he cannot digest any information exceeding 140 characters at any one time?

So that's why the American president (small "p" on purpose, since dumbass doesn't deserve the respect that goes along with the office) sat through these meetings with a dumbass expression on his face since he didn't have anything intelligent to contribute. He probably didn't even know what G-20 meant.

"...With issues of North Korea’s continued nuclear threats, Syria, Islamic State and global terrorism on the agenda — and Trump’s political future on leaders’ minds — the eyes of the world are trained toward the two men’s meeting on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit.

“I worry a little about this meeting because Putin is going to walk into the room very well prepared, and I’m not certain Trump will come into that room prepared,” said Steven Pifer, a former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine and career diplomat who now is a senior foreign policy fellow at the Brookings Institution think tank in Washington. Should Trump prove unprepared, that won’t be for lack of effort on the Americans’ side.

Leading up to his first face-to-face meeting with Putin, U.S. intelligence officials have prepared a detailed psychological profile of the long-serving Russian strongman, a former KGB officer who spent decades recruiting spies for the Soviet Union and mastered the art of bending people to his will.

The profile, according to two U.S. officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the preparations, is part of a thick binder prepared for Trump. The president often doesn’t read the usual briefing books and relies on in-person briefings, the officials said, so aides also have written a list of tweet-length sentences that summarize the main points Trump could bring up with Putin. ..."
