Sun Jul 9, 2017, 12:02 PM
Jul 2017

You know how heads of state always learn names ahead of time so that nobody is slighted and there are no embarrassing oversights? At the very least, the heads of state have their assistants standing by to remind them who everybody is at the meetings.

But is it even possible that Trump might have done this? Of course not, he doesn't give a rat's ass who any of them are. He expects them to all recognize him, and instead they're ignoring him.

It's just like the hotels in Hamburg, why should hotel managers refuse their regular customers just so Trump can have 3 floors to himself? Nobody even wants him at their hotel, and they're all booked up anyway.

Let's see how he does on the next trip, maybe he's learned something.

He brings no value to the meeting so there's no point in wasting time with him. He's probably sitting there with his pursed lips making a list in his head of who is snubbing him and will try to screw their country the way he's screwing ours because of his thin skin (think Correspondents dinner). In a battle between receiving attention from a despot (Putin) or being ignored by the others we know what he has chosen. His behavior in general, and in particular at the G20 will only serve to lead him further away from relevance in these gatherings.

Dump, however, can't make friends, can't get any respect, is actively scorned by the world. And that includes Putin, who is very likely laughing at him behind his back.
