total inexperience would be blatantly obvious in any campaign events and especially debates, etc. Yes I realize that Trump himself is hideously unqualified and that his voters found his "honesty" (his refusal to prepare for anything and his obvious lack of knowledge during the campaign) and lack of qualifications attractive but Ivanka would NOT be able to hide behind Daddy Trump's blustery presentation.
Unlike daddy, Ivanka could not sail through a campaign by viciously ridiculing her opponents' height and/or stamina and/or constantly imply things about their sexual prowess or genital size or the attractiveness of their spouses. And bragging that she was/is a tough guy who can intimidate every world leader into submission would sound very unbelievable. That sort of behavior is interpreted very differently when a woman engages in it -- and especially a young, attractive woman like Ivanka. It would come across as "Mean Girls," and very, very few people would believe that any world leader would find Ivanka challenging in any significant way.
Her ridiculous girly, breathy, "sexy" voice, and weird monotonous delivery, which is an unnatural affectation and ridiculous for a woman of her age, becomes grating very quickly. She would be very hard to take in a two hour debate. And she was of temporary interest in the campaign. Now that Trump is allowing her into meetings with world leaders, and is using her as a shiny object to deflect attention from himself and his appalling failures, people are not so accepting and indulgent of Ivanka. So even if Trump has some silly fantasy along these lines the likelihood of it going anywhere in 2020 is next to zero imho.
