whats with the media splitting the screen into thirds?

beat the drum that the "Main $tream Media" are FAKE NEWS because they don't promote accomplishments or report on the successes of the president or Congress - or defend them.
It got so bad, no Republicans would appear or make comments on shows like 'CNN with Chris Cuomo' and of course 'Rachel Maddow.'
They created a self-fulfilling prophecy, self-actualization by not doing what they said they weren't allowed to do.
So - now we have the moderator/host, the 'left' spokesperson and the 'right' spokesperson.
While "we" find this to be annoying (there are not two sides to a fact), listening to a rightwing nutjob is almost as illuminating as listening to an informed critique of rightwing nuttery!
We hear what we are up against - and this makes us more informed.
